Vikas Sheel apointed as Chhattisgarh’s 13th Chief Secretary

Vkas Sheel, a 1994-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Chhattisgarh's new chief secretary, succeeding Amitabh Jain. The Chhattisgarh government issued the order on Thursday. Sheel, currently an advisor at the Asian Development Bank, previously served as Collector of Raipur and Bilaspur and held key positions in central government, including Additional Secretary for Health and Jal Jeevan Mission.
