Centre downgrades security cover for ex-PM Manmohan Singh's wife

The Centre has downgraded Gursharan Kaur's security cover from Z-plus to Z, following a review of her threat perception. This change comes after the passing of former PM Manmohan Singh in 2024. CRPF will continue to provide protection, albeit with fewer personnel and a scaled-down protocol.
