'Friends of India': Jaishankar visits Iran embassy, condoles Raisi's demise

External affairs minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday expressed deepest condolences on the tragic demise of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, whom he also called "friends of India'. Jaishankar, who visited the Embassy of Iran in the national capital on Tuesday, said Raisi and Abdollahian "contributed immensely to the growth of the India-Iran relationship'.
