Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange calls off his fast

Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil ended his fast after receiving a glass of juice from Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and a draft notification granting the Kunbi certificate to male relatives of Marathas with Kunbi lineage. The draft also includes sage soyare as eligible for the certificate. The agitation for the Maratha quota has faced opposition from the OBC community.
