Congress meeting in Delhi discusses strategy to counter BJP in Lok Sabha polls

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and senior party leader Rahul Gandhi held a meaningful meeting with Bihar leaders to discuss countering the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and seat-sharing. The Congress wants 9-10 seats to contest and aims to defeat the BJP. The meeting emphasized the importance of working for each of the 40 LS seats in the state. The alliance committee of the Congress will meet on December 29 to decide on seat-sharing. In the 2019 LS polls, Congress won 1 seat while the RJD got 20 seats.
