'Whether it targets people of Mumbai, New York or Israel ...': US condemns Hamas' 'unjustifiable' terror attack with 26/11 reference

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has compared the Mumbai terror attack in 2008 to the recent attack launched by Hamas militants in Israel. Speaking at a UN Security Council meeting, Blinken emphasized that all acts of terrorism are unjustifiable and called on member states to denounce those who arm and fund terrorist groups. He also highlighted the importance of nations defending themselves against such attacks. Blinken mentioned the Mumbai attacks, where 166 people were killed, and the recent conflict in Israel, which resulted in the deaths of over 1,400 people.
