Prohibitory orders have been issued in a 5-kilometer radius area in Beed, Maharashtra, following violent incidents related to the Maratha reservation. The orders were issued after the office of the Nationalist Congress Party was set on fire, and the residences of two politicians were also torched. Additionally, NCP MLA Prakash Solanke's residence was set on fire. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde warned against inciting violence in the name of the Maratha reservation and stated that an advisory board has been formed to address the issue. Activist Manoj Jarange Patil is on an indefinite fast demanding reservation for the Maratha community.
