Ex-Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das appointed Odisha governor

Former Jharkhand chief minister Raghubar Das was appointed governor of Odisha, a press communique from the Rashtrapati Bhawan said on Wednesday. Das will replace incumbent Ganeshi Lal. Das served as the first non-tribal CM of Jharkhand from 2014 to 2019 and is a former RSS functionary. He is currently a national vice-president of the BJP.
