EAM Jaishankar holds 'productive talks' with Portuguese counterpart

India's External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, held productive talks with his Portuguese counterpart, Joao Cravinho, during his visit to Portugal. They discussed progress in bilateral economic cooperation and exchanged views on various global issues. Jaishankar also appreciated Portugal's support for India-EU ties. He met with other Portuguese officials and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and his wife, Kasturba. Jaishankar will also visit Italy to strengthen bilateral ties, following the elevation of the relationship between the two countries to a strategic partnership in March.
