‘Steadfast’ Ukraine policy in national interest, based on 6 principles: EAM

Foreign minister S Jaishankar said in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday that India’s “steadfast and consistent” Ukraine policy is in its own national interest and that it’s based on six principles. These include immediate cessation of hostilities, return to dialogue and diplomacy, respect for international law, sovereignty and territorial integrity, access to humanitarian assistance, India’s own aid to Ukraine and the initiative to remain in touch with the leadership of both Russia and Ukraine.
