Gurudas Dasgupta, CPI veteran, passes away

Veteran CPI leader Gurudas Dasgupta, one of the doyens of the country's trade union movement and a former MP, died at his Chetla home in Kolkata on Thursday, three days ahead of his 83rd birthday on November 3.
