Meet the netas who are too poor to pay tax on their salaries

Seven states had deemed their ministers too poor to pay income tax. So, they came up with a unique solution — let the state exchequer bear the mantris’ tax burden. Punjab took the lead with CM Amarinder Singh stopping this in March 2018 while UP is now looking at scrapping the practice.
