Re-emphasizing the demand for a countrywide caste-based census, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar Sunday said that if the country gets caste-wise data on population, it will give an impetus to the development of all. Addressing the national council meeting of JD(U) at its state office here, Nitish said the caste-wise data is beneficial. “The caste-wise enumeration of the population during census-2021 is very necessary. The caste-wise data will be beneficial for all people.
